    Hello!
I love the Reader Rabbit games. My son had these when he was about 4 years old and he loved it. Another good game series for him was the ABCmouse website. As a parent, it is important to ensure your child is learning from multiple different channels. Learning starts at home so you might as well make it fun!

My sister has two daughters and they play on a regular basis, so it is good to know that they are benefiting from the games. The list of benefits is quite long. I did not know the advantages were that extensive.

Out of all the games you listed, the reader rabbit game especially intrigued me. They can learn and play at the same time. That is ideal. It will give them the foundation they need for later in life. Any game that does that is a win in my book.

I have a question though. What tips do you have for a parent who has child who plays too many video games? How do you best confront the problem? You have to be careful when addressing this issue in a child, so as not to create turmoil. I look forward to hearing your answer.

Thank you for sharing and I hope you make it a great day!

      Thank You Alex,

I am happy you found my article post interesting enough to leave a comment, I can understand the conflict with monitoring children playing video games. When you start from the beginning the children will just accept they can only play a certain amount of time per day, but when you try to limit game playing when they are older your best strategy is to get them interested in other family activities.
