I loved reading through this post! As a music teacher I can’t tell you how many times I have had parents tell me that they wish they had learned a musical instrument. It’s always been strange to hear them say that because it’s like they are saying that it’s too late. I believe strongly that people can do it at any age and that there are countless benefits! Thanks so much for sharing your insight and resources!

      Thank You Teacher,

I know from my own experience you can learn a new musical instrument at any age, but what is most important I think are the benefits older people will receive by learning to play a musical instrument. Music is like magic therapy for our health, I hope more people get motivated after reading this post

Both of my daughters played musical instruments all the way through school. Our oldest chose the saxophone and the youngest chose the clarinet.

Their high school band went to several state championships and was an award winning program. I thoroughly enjoyed going to see them and playing their instruments is a skill that they will have with them during their whole life.

Music is more precious than many people realize, I think we often take it for advantage not realizing how much it really improves our lives.
